Let’s Imagine Fucking Things!

We have seen a lot of things in the World Cup. We have seen great wins, great defeats and characters that stand out for their incredible talent.

But it must be recognized that a team, as such, is rarely seen working as one man to face a rival – considered by many – invincible.

And that is precisely the history of the Mexican team that won 1-0 against the great German team and world champion.

The possibilities – it must be admitted – were clearly slim. The rival was too big, too powerful (at least in image). But we could see how the Mexican warriors took to the field and fought with great hearts to obtain a most valuable and historic victory that we will never forget.

We saw them play on the court with such passion that they managed to crush the opponent and all of Latin America rejoiced with them.

But what does this have to do with business and entrepreneurship? I assure you that it has a lot to do with it.

The Power of the Success Mindset

And it is no secret that in business, as in life, as in football, things are not always easy.

Starting a small business is a huge challenge with many obstacles to overcome:

  • We do not know the market
  • You have little experience undertaking
  • You have little capital
  • You have no employees
  • You have no contacts
  • There is a lot of competition
  • You must work a lot
  • Etc.

The chances of success if we analyze all these potholes in the road seem slim. People will hardly believe in you until they see you build and accomplish something.

You will be alone and you will feel alone in many moments. You will wish to quit or never have started. You will be prey to thoughts like “a job is safer“or”I better get a job“.

But it is there, precisely there where we need to hear one’s voice. Of at least one person who dares to challenge the most skeptical and who says, like Javier Hernandez did: Let’s imagine that it can!

Despite everything we have against us. Despite our limitations. Yes, despite all that, let’s dare to imagine cool things and believe that if you can.

Because when a team is infected with a positive mindset, then nothing can stop them.

I am not Mexican, but I will stick with these words from Chicharito, which has long earned my respect and which I am sure will mean a promising future for him as an athlete and as a person.

Meanwhile, you and I in our different endeavors, we must follow their example and overcome any negative prognosis by saying only, Let’s imagine!

Leave me your comment and tell me how you imagine your future.
