History:

After Rosalie Guillem moved to the United States from her native France in 2002, she found she missed two things terribly – her daughter Audrey Guillem-Saba and authentic French macarons.

This gave her an idea: What if she brought Audrey, her husband, pastry chef Didier Saba and their children to America and opened a French-style cafe selling delicious macarons and other delicious pastries? The idea for Le Macaron French Pastries was born!

Rosalie and Audrey opened their first French pastry store in Le Macaron, Sarasota, Florida in 2009 at the height of the Great Recession.

The troubled economy hasn’t stopped visitors indulging in exquisite macarons and French pastries at the boutique-style French café, and Le Macaron quickly gained popularity with Sarasota residents, let alone those spending hours from neighboring Regions just to try one of their authentic French macarons!

After numerous requests for additional locations, the Le Macaron French Pastries Franchise was launched in 2012 with the aim of providing like-minded entrepreneurs across the country with a fun and fulfilling business opportunity.

Today we are nationally recognized in the entire franchise industry and have been recognized in top industry publications. And … it has to be said, our macarons are STILL the best in business!
