HISTORY
Screenmobile was founded in 1980 by Monty M. Walker (affectionately known as “Pops”) and his two sons Scott and Monty L Walker. Using a large wooden trailer tent, Pops and his sons began repairing and installing screens for their community in Glendora, California. Originally from the Walker family’s garage, Pops and his two sons were out and about repairing, adjusting, and installing a variety of screens.
Quickly building a reputation for quality, professionalism and mobility, the Walkers expanded their Screenmobile operations to Palm Springs in 1981. They found that they were the only company screened on-site, which enabled an efficient and timely service that was not replicated elsewhere, an essential element in Screenmobile’s expansion.
When the Walkers realized that there was a tremendous opportunity for an industry leader in repairing and installing mobile screens, they envisioned Screenmobile to become a leading national franchisor. Forty years later, that’s exactly what happened.

We like to say: “ZERO experience, ZERO problem!“We offer a comprehensive 10-day training program at our Screen School, which includes 40 hours in the classroom and 40 hours of training in the workplace.
Classroom training focuses on administration, marketing and sales. With our “Screen House” we simulate training courses in the workplace.
