Welcome to the family

Let Mommy Sleep offers so-called “baby nurse” care. However, the competitive advantage that our team brings to families is that we are actually nurses. Did you know that our newborn nursing class received a government contract to teach nannies and day carers?

This is the curriculum we use to teach nannies and daycare centers that are not nurses. So our team has the skills to take care of the baby, but also the testimonials that bring comfort and credibility to new mothers and fathers.

Our story: The Let Mommy Sleep Story

Let Mommy Sleep CEO Denise Stern have twin girls in 2009. As if that wasn’t busy enough, she also had a one-year-old son, a husband with no paternity leave and childbirth complications that left her in very fragile health. From that personal experience and a small business background, Let Mommy Sleep was born.

Denise founded the Washington DC office in 2010. The concept quickly gained momentum as the leading baby nurse and postpartum care service in the country. Denise is now the CEO of Let Mommy Sleep Franchising, helping others open locations in the United States.

After experiencing the incredibly positive effects postpartum care had on family health, Stern embarked on the charitable mission Mission: Sleep (501c3) in 2012. The charity provides free accommodation to military and first responder families whose newborns arrive when a parent is posted to the wounded or deceased.

Let Mommy Sleep has earned national recognition since 2011 after just a year in the business. Franchisees are also known as aftercare experts in their local markets.

A partnership with INOVA Health and a government contract for newborn care have laid a solid foundation for Let Mommy Sleep to begin franchising nationwide. New franchise locations across the country are the first steps in providing life-changing care to newborn babies and their families.

Stern’s ultimate goal is to revolutionize aftercare in America, make it a national standard, and bring together a currently unregulated industry.
