Steady growth in a stable industry

Since the company was taken over by Mark Davis and Frank Torre in 2015, PuroClean has seen steady growth of 20%.

• Total sales also increased by 58%, which means an increase in sales for the individual franchisees.
• A major driver of growth was the work done through negotiated programs with major insurance carriers across the country. This has increased eightfold in the past four years.
• In 2017 we expanded our training capacity beyond the boundaries of our facility by launching our online academy. Harnessing the power of technology, we’ve trained over 1,250 students and issued more than 1,900 online certificates.
• In 2019, PuroClean rose 79 places to 179th place in the Franchise 500 rating of Entrepreneur magazine.

The PuroClean Academy

The PuroClean Academy in the company headquarters includes a state-of-the-art IICRC-approved ASD (Applied Structural Drying) facility, which we affectionately refer to as a “Flood House”. This is the focus of practical teaching in practice.

As one of only 27 worldwide, this is one of the leading ASD institutions in the country and helps us offer the highest possible level of education there is.

The experience

We often offer insurance companies unique opportunities to train at our facility to ensure their Adjusters and others in the industry receive excellent training to improve their own ability to serve their customers.

The PuroClean Academy also consists of a high-tech classroom with special functions that enable both personal and distance learning opportunities.

It offers interactive webinars; interactive live video presentations; and other hands-on learning opportunities for the most effective, specialized training.

In total, more than 1,000 PuroClean employees and insurance specialists have trained at the PuroClean Academy since it was introduced in 2011.

PuroVet and PuroClean

Through our PuroVet program, we encourage and support military veterans to become entrepreneurs in their communities in a career where they can continue to be the heroes they were meant to be.

In 2018, we hosted the first free PuroVet franchise giveaway, awarding Washington, DC-based Grant Springer, a 26-year U.S. Army veteran, a free PuroClean franchise.
